My apologies for not posting details here on livejournal, as most of our details get posted at the official messageboard on Yahoo.

At any rate, here's an interesting fill-in from what happened last night:

Last night- the unofficial Pagan & Christian Conference 2006

Yes, I am joking. However, last night our magick pracitioners meetup and about half way through one of the girls saw a guy she used to work with at another table at Borders. They started talking and all of a sudden questions get asked about our group and we find out that there is a Christian group sitting 2 tables away.

Well before we know it, everyone is sitting together at one table and we had about 2-3 hours of dialogue going on. I do have to say it was the most positive experience I have had with Christians to date. Although they were strong in their beliefs, none of them were cramming it down our throats or trying to convert us. It was interesting.

It was just interesting to be able to have a civil dialogue between two different religious sectors and be perfectly fine with it.

I still think ultimately many of us are on the same or similar roads in our spiritual practice, we just represent it in different ways and some of us don't read a book to express our faith. I say, whatever works for you is right for you and so be it.

Last night was good and very positive.

By the way, if you're a magick pracitioner of any religion/faith/path and would like to attend our monthly social email me at circlezine@gmail.com and make sure to put 'RIMP' in the subject or it will get canned with spam.

I will certainly remember to post next month's meetup details here and I will also post some upcoming events in the community here when I get a chance. See you in person in July!
